A rare tea produced by hand rolling green tea buds and silvery tips into a tight, pearl shape. The tea is then scented repeatedly with jasmine, creating a wonderfully fragrant bouquet. Upon brewing, each pearl unfurls to show the tender tea leaves.
Brewing Tips:Our Pearl Jasmine tea should be made with cold, filtered water that has been brought to a point just short of boiling (190-200° F). Using one rounded teaspoon of loose tea or one teabag for each cup required, pour the boiling water over the tea leaves. Downy Pearl Jasmine tea should be steeped for 3-4 minutes. Once the ideal brewing time has been reached, the leaves should be removed to prevent further steeping. Decant and enjoy!
